I’ve always been a creative person. As a child my bedroom was littered with snippets of paper, sequins and fabric, remnants of various crafting projects……..( to be honest this has not really changed much).

I studied art at Falmouth College and went on to specialise in textiles and surface pattern design. This was many moons ago, pre-digital, but one thing always stuck, my love for colour and pattern, whether it be in fashion, interiors or paper goods.

Fast forward 20+ years, juggling several jobs, around 3 children and gaining a teaching qualification in Art, I decided to take on a new challenge and launched Georgia Breeze Designs . Initially my focus was publishing my own, hand finished greeting cards.  I spent 5 years selling cards, both nationally and internationally. One Christmas my Mother in Law and I stuck gems on 36, 000 cards, all bound for overseas. It still baffles me that little pieces of my artwork ends up in all corners of the world. I have now left the gem sticking far behind. I license my designs to one of the Uk’s longest established publishers of premium greeting cards Ling Design.
This side step for my business has allowed me to return to my roots and truly fall back in love with surface pattern design.
