Georgia Breeze puzzle design chosen for UK Jigsaw Puzzle National Championship

On 5 April, I had the honour of attending the inaugural UK Jigsaw Puzzle Nationals in Bradford, where my very own puzzle design - created in collaboration with Ravensburger - was featured in the Solo Competition.

As an artist, seeing my illustration transformed into a competitive puzzle was a surreal experience. My design was inspired by my long-standing love for drawing teacups and vintage crockery - a passion rooted in countless hours spent thrifting and, of course, enjoying a classic English cuppa.

While these illustrations have featured on various products over the years, this was their first appearance on a puzzle, making the occasion even more special.

The event itself was a vibrant gathering of puzzle enthusiasts from around the globe. Meeting so many talented puzzlers and sharing this experience with the dedicated Ravensburger team was truly heartwarming. The energy in the room was palpable, with participants eagerly tackling the brand-new, secret puzzles crafted specifically for the competition.

Reflecting on the day, I'm filled with gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to such a landmark event in the puzzling community. It's a memory I'll cherish and a milestone in my artistic journey.

A huge shout out to the winner, Emma Quirke, from Killarney in Ireland, for completing this puzzle in 41m55s! Mind blowing!
